Affrate currently has no paid placements and no affiliate links. The site owner confirmed this position on 28 October 2026. This page records that statement; it does not report an independent financial audit.
What external links mean
Reviews and guides link to provider pages, published terms, research and other references so readers can inspect the material being discussed. An external editorial or source link does not, by itself, establish a commercial relationship.
A source page may describe an affiliate program or contain its own registration link. The word “affiliate” in a page title or URL does not make Affrate’s reference a commission-earning referral.
A citation also has limits. It identifies material relevant to a claim; it does not automatically verify the provider’s identity, establish that every statement is accurate or demonstrate payment reliability. Read the qualifications beside the claim as well as the linked source.
If commercial arrangements change
A future paid placement, affiliate link or other commercial relationship would need clear disclosure before the affected material is published. That would require:
- A nearby explanation: describe the actual relationship in plain language close to the recommendation, placement or link it affects.
- Correct link treatment: apply the appropriate treatment to associated links and check the requirements relevant to the arrangement, channel and audience.
- Consistent information: update this page and the affected content so they describe the same arrangement accurately.
The wording would need to match the relationship that actually exists. This is a condition for any future arrangement, not an announcement of a current advertising or affiliate program.
The US Federal Trade Commission’s endorsement guidance explains that material connections should be disclosed clearly and conspicuously near recommendations. It also notes that “affiliate link” alone may not tell readers that compensation is involved.
That guidance is US-specific. Requirements in other jurisdictions and on particular platforms need separate consideration. Technical link attributes and a general disclosure page do not replace a clear explanation where a commercial recommendation appears.
How to read our reviews and scores
Affrate’s reviews include editorial judgments. The absence of paid placements or affiliate links does not, by itself, validate those judgments or the sources behind them.
Existing scores out of 100 are legacy editorial assessments whose input evidence has not been revalidated. Our methodology page explains the historical calculation and the distinction between source evidence, provider statements and editorial opinion.
